Management of Design Projects (MPC)

Extremely sought-after and full of rewards and challenges, the profession of Construction Project Manager involves the twinning of technical, contextual and behavioral skills that participants in the courses included in the Management of Design Projects master’s program accumulate and develop during the four semesters.

After obtaining the IPMA Registered Education Program certification from the International Project Management Association – IPMA , the master’s courses in Project Management in Constructions offered by UTCB have received quality recognition, being the only master’s program in the country recognized for its quality and content at an international level.

Graduates of this master’s degree program have thus opened the way to international certification valued worldwide as a standard for measuring knowledge and applying project management principles in construction.

IPMA recognition of the Master’s program

The Master’s Program is the only program in the country internationally recognized by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) (www.ipma.world/consultants-trainers).

Between the Technical University of Construction Bucharest and the Romanian Project Management Association, a Protocol was signed that offers the graduates opportunities for continuous professional development in the field of project management:

1. Starting with the 2019-2021 series, graduates of the master’s program can benefit from vouchers for participating in the international certification exam, level D.
2. In this sense, based on the results obtained during the master’s program and following the classification of the works presented in the communication session that takes place before the dissertation exam, the first 5 (five) students will benefit from vouchers for certification at D level. A voucher covers the participation fee for the certification exam organized by the Romanian Project Management Association.
3. Vouchers will be issued by the Romanian Project Management Association based on the nominal list of beneficiaries sent by UTCB, until the end of September each year. The vouchers are valid for 3 years, during this period, their beneficiaries can participate in the certification exam.
